General Return Guidelines:
To receive a full refund, course materials must meet the term-based return deadline and be in their original condition. For any questions regarding course material returns, please use the Contact Us page and select “Textbooks and Course Materials” to send your inquiry to our Course Materials team.
If you would like to exchange or return a course material item in store, please bring it in along with a copy of your receipt.
Items purchased online can also be returned by mail. Please repackage the item(s), including a copy of your receipt, and address your shipment to the address below:

Non-Refundable Purchases
- Digital Course Packets
- Accessed eTextbooks
- Opened loose-leaf materials
- Opened kits
- Course materials for classes lasting two weeks or less
- Any course materials purchased after the refund deadline has passed
Fall and Spring Semester Returns
- Course Materials, including rental textbooks, may be returned for a full
refund during the first week of the semester. - eTextbooksare returnable two weeks from the purchase date, up to the end
of the first week of classes. eTextbooks are not returnable once accessed. - Inclusive Access (IA) materials do not follow a traditional return process. If
your course is using IA materials, you must “opt out” of receiving the digital
access before the opt out deadline to receive a refund. Please read more

B-Term, May Term, and Summer Session Returns:
- B-Term, including rental textbooks, may be returned for a full
refund during the first week of the semester. - Course materials, including rentals, for May Term and Summer Session
courses that meet less than 8 weeks may be returned within the first three
days of the start of the course. Course Packets may be returned on the first
day of class only.. - Inclusive Access (IA) materials do not follow a traditional return process. If
your course is using IA materials, you must “opt out” of receiving the digital
